These are systems Greenamp designed, permitted and installed in Leduc and Leduc County, with the equipment recorded as each one was commissioned. They run from a 4 kW array up to 15.15 kW, and they are not all house roofs — one is a ground mount on an acreage and one is a metal-roof shop. Leduc is FortisAlberta territory rather than EPCOR, so every one went through a FortisAlberta micro-generation application and a FortisAlberta meter change. Greenamp is based in Nisku, which puts our shop inside Leduc County — these are close to home for us.
What these Leduc systems have in common
The Leduc projects on this list split into two groups rather than clustering around an average. Three sit between 11 kW and 15.15 kW, and the rest are smaller, from 4 kW up to 6.3 kW. That spread reflects what gets built here: city lots alongside Leduc County acreages, where the best unshaded surface is often a shop roof or open ground rather than the house itself.
Two of these are not house roofs at all — a 15.15 kW ground mount and an 11 kW metal-roof shop, both on County acreages, both running APsystems microinverters so a single shaded module cannot drag down the rest. On the house roofs the module is the LONGi LR-7 paired with a SolarEdge Hub inverter and per-panel optimisers.

How a Leduc install actually runs
The photographs tell you what the finished array looks like. They do not tell you what the weeks before it looked like, so here is the sequence every Leduc system on this page went through.
Site assessment and design. Roof measurements, pitch and azimuth, rafter spacing, shingle condition and the size of the existing electrical service. The service size is what caps the system, not the roof.
FortisAlberta micro-generation application. Leduc is FortisAlberta, not EPCOR. The application goes in before anything is mounted, and FortisAlberta confirms the system meets the micro-generation regulation and that the local circuit can take it.
City of Leduc electrical permit. Pulled by us, under our licence, not by the homeowner. An acreage in Leduc County goes through the County instead.
Install. Racking, flashing at every roof penetration, modules, inverter, and the AC run to the panel. A residential system of this size is usually one to two days on the roof.
Inspection and FortisAlberta meter change. The electrical inspection comes first, then FortisAlberta swaps the meter for one that measures in both directions. The system does not legally produce until that swap is done.

Yes. Every system listed and photographed on this page was designed, permitted and installed by Greenamp on a Leduc property, and the equipment shown is what was actually commissioned. There is no single answer here, and this list shows why. Three of the six systems sit between 11 kW and 15.15 kW, and three are between 4 kW and 6.3 kW. What decides it is unshaded roof area facing somewhere between east and west, and the size of the existing electrical service — the service is the harder limit, because a 100-amp panel constrains a system well before the roof runs out of room.

FortisAlberta. Leduc and Leduc County are outside EPCOR territory, which changes who reviews your interconnection and who swaps your meter — not the install itself, but the paperwork and the timelines around it. Your electricity retailer is a separate question and does not affect the process. The same applies in Beaumont, Sherwood Park, St. Albert and Sturgeon County.

The install itself is usually one to two days on the roof for a residential system this size. The calendar time is dominated by two queues we do not control: the FortisAlberta micro-generation application, which goes in before anything is mounted, and the FortisAlberta meter change after the electrical inspection passes. The system is not legally allowed to produce until that meter swap happens. Plan on several weeks end to end, and treat anyone quoting a same-week turnaround with suspicion.

Ask us and we will try to arrange it. We will not hand out a homeowner’s address without asking them first, so it depends on who nearby is willing. Six documented systems is a smaller pool than Edmonton or Beaumont, but our shop is in Nisku, so a site visit here costs us almost nothing to organise. A drive-by of a finished array tells you more about flashing and racking neatness than any brochure will.

Much the same, which is the point of photographing them. The modules are rated to IEC 61215 for hail and load, the racking is engineered for snow load, and a panel at a normal roof pitch sheds snow on its own once the sun gets to it — glass is slicker than shingles. What matters more than the panels is the flashing at every roof penetration, because that is what leaks if it is done carelessly. Look closely at the mounting detail in these photographs; that is the part a homeowner cannot inspect from the ground later.
