More Than Panels
We do good work in Alberta. We try to use that work to do some good beyond it too.
Greenamp is a solar company, but it's also a company built by people who live here — in Beaumont, in Alberta — and who care about the communities around them. That shows up in how we install, in what we give to, and occasionally, in where we go.
Lofa County, Liberia — February 2026
The lights came on in Bettesu.
A village in Lofa County, Liberia, that had about an hour of power per day now has 24/7 electricity. The school runs at night. The medical clinic can operate its equipment. The internet works. A Greenamp client connected us to Better Together Liberia — a charity that has worked alongside Bettesu for over a decade — and asked if we'd help. Four members of our team flew to Liberia in February 2026 and installed a 22.32 kW off-grid solar system with 40 kWh of battery storage. We donated the materials, the electrical components, and the team's travel. The village owns and operates it. This was our first community impact project. It won't be the last.
Closer to home
Every Greenamp solar installation includes a $50 donation to MS Canada. Our team also rides in the MS Bike Tour each year — not as a corporate obligation, but because multiple sclerosis has touched people close to this team. That's why it's the cause we anchor our giving to. We also support Ronald McDonald House Alberta — keeping families close to their children during medical treatment — and Little Warriors, whose work addresses the prevention and healing of child sexual abuse. When other community causes come up — local schools, sports teams, fundraisers — we try to say yes when we can.
Solar is a 25-year decision. The companies you choose to work with shape what gets built — and what gets supported. We try to use the work to do some good. That's part of what Power Your Future means to us: yours, your family's, and when we can, other people's too.
