At Greenamp Solar & Energy, we’re a local company with a clear mission: to help Alberta homeowners take control of their energy with clean, reliable solar power—installed right, the first time. We're growing fast and looking for a certified Journeyperson Electrician with residential experience to join our Edmonton team.

We’re not your typical contractor—we respect your time, invest in your growth, and back our team the same way we back our installs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve AC and DC electrical issues

  • Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform safe, efficient installs

  • Inspect systems to ensure optimal performance

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional worksite at all times

You’re a Great Fit If You Have:

  • Journeyperson Electrician certification (Alberta-required)

  • At least 4 years of hands-on residential electrical experience

  • Experience with panel upgrades, service changes, and rooftop installations

  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, drawings, and code

  • Familiarity with low-voltage systems and related applications

  • Proficiency using power tools and hand tools

  • Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial standards

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and logical, detail-oriented approach to tasks

  • Strong attention to safety protocols and cleanliness

  • Valid Driver’s License and are based in the Edmonton area

  • Red Seal certification is an asset but not required

  • Some out of town work required
